Brooke McCormick is a native Floridian and practices in the areas of contract disputes, insurance coverage, general civil trial litigation, automobile negligence defense, medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense and appeals. She practices in state and federal court. She also practices before the Division of Administrative Hearings.
Brooke received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and graduated magna cum laude from Barry University School of Law. While in law school she was active in Law Review, Trial Team and Moot Court and published Amendments to Federal Removal Statute: Curtailing Adjudication of Diversity Cases or Bad Faith Causes of Action in Barry Law Review Journal before graduation. Prior to attending law school, Brooke worked for more than a decade as a litigation paralegal for law firms in Deland, Daytona Beach, Houston, Texas and Denver, Colorado. As a practicing attorney, she served as an Assistant County Attorney for the County of Volusia and was formerly a partner with Smith Bigman Brock, P.A. where she practiced law more than a decade before leaving to join Wright & Casey, P.A. in 2026.
Brooke has been a member of the Florida Bar, the Volusia County Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association since 2014 and is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts. She is a past member of the Volusia/Flagler Association for Women Lawyers and a past Board member of the Volusia County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
