Joshua is a native Floridian and New Smyrna Beach resident. Joshua’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate matters, estate planning, probate, and trust law, as well as land use, business and corporate matters. Mr. Wells graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2007 and received JD and Master’s degrees, with honors, from Vermont Law School in 2013.
During law school, Mr. Wells drafted model land use ordinances for a state Regional Planning Commission, authored an article published in a national journal, and worked as an intern for an estate and tax planning firm serving high net worth clients. After law school, Joshua clerked for the City of Jacksonville’s Office of General Counsel, where he focused on real estate, land use, and planning issues. Mr. Wells is the President of the Volusia Real Estate Council, and is actively involved with several community organizations including the Southeast Volusia Kiwanis Club and the Canal Street Historic District.
