Mark P Cressman is an experienced civil trial lawyer and counselor-at-law who concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, medical, and professional liability cases.
Mr. Cressman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1988, after serving in the United States Army. In 1994, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida During his final semester, Mr. Cressman began his trial attorney career when he started trying cases as an an Assistant Attorney General under the third-year practice rule.
Mr. Cressman has consistently achieved an “AV-rating,” the highest rating for professionalism and ethics, from Martindale-Hubbell by his peers and the judiciary. He was also honored with his subsequent peer election into the National Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Cressman has also been recognized as a Top 100 Attorney in the area of Personal Injury law and is included among the 5% of Florida attorneys listed in Florida Super Lawyers.
He was admitted to the practice of law by the Florida Supreme Court in 1995, the US. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida in 1997, the Trial Bar of the Federal District Courts in 1999, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2009.
Mr. Cressman is a member of the Orange and Volusia County Bar Associations, the Florida Bar Association, and the American Society of Law and Medicine, and maintains membership in the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.
A significant portion of Mr. Cressman’s practice has involved the defense of hospitals and healthcare providers and other medical and drug related litigation, an area of law which he finds fascinating.
